Hidden Features that can be enabled by Meraki Support in Dashboard

Did you know that there is a bunch of stuff that can be enabled by Meraki Support in Dashboard? Neither did I until I had a bunch of requests and called support!

After a discussion on the MacAdmins Slack, it was decided that this would be useful information and so I wanted to create a resource for everyone. If you know of any others please comment below and I’ll add them once I’ve verified that it’s possible.

• EoGRE Concentration for SSIDs

• VPN Translation

• Dashboard Branding for MSPs

• PIM Sparse Mode

• Hidden Game - It’s awesomely bad. (Type ‘konami’ in the ‘make a wish’ submission box. I wasn’t sure if this would still work but it does!!

• 2.4 GHz only mode - if you only want to broadcast on the 2.4 GHz band.

• Broadcasting the AP name

Hotspot 2.0 - This is now general release
Disable the Wi-Fi Mesh now available in Network Wide > Configure > General - under the ‘Device Config’ section.
