ECSE Design

ECSE Design

I’m home after taking the ECSE Design course run by Ferney Muñoz @ferney_munoz in the UK hosted by the team at Open Reality.
To start, the course was great. An overview of the ‘basics’ (which if you haven’t looked into WiFi before are anything but basic) that gives you everything you need to start designing great WiFi.

I know that the course is run by Ekahau but it’s not like any other vendor training I’ve done before. Sure, they teach you the software but it’s so much more than that. You could genuinely take this course even if you don’t use Ekahau and get so much from it.

If like me, you’re at the beginning of your journey into #WiFi I would say it’s almost a must. Even if it’s just to have the chance to meet other professionals and debate, ask questions and get a better ‘working’ understanding of the things you’ve read in books.
As my company continues to grow we’ll be putting more and more people through this course.

For anyone that follows memes… I give this course 5/7, top marks!!

I’m really looking forward to the ECSE Troubleshooting course next week. Troubleshooting is where I personally feel like I need the most training. It’s also where I feel I’ll be most helpful to our clients (mainly because the WiFi was designed so badly in the first place).
